Upper Piedmont

When we talk about Nebbiolo, one of the most famous native Italian vines, we immediately think of Barolo and Barbaresco. Few people know that in Northern Piedmont this vine already represented a vineyard area no less important than that of the Langhe at the beginning of the twentieth century. The historical importance of viticulture in the area, its volcanic but very varied soils in just a few tens of kilometers and finally the influence of Monte Rosa give the Nebbiolos of Alto Piedmont a strong territorial identity, endowed with extreme elegance and finesse.
